Course Summary

            In this course, we get to pick and choose the most exciting wine regions of the world. Our fall course includes important wine regions that every wine lover will want to know

           Each class will give you an in-depth exploration of what is unique about a particular region and what it is about the region's wines that has long captured the imagination and palates of the wine world?

            You will learn the basic outlines of each region – its climate, geology and grape varieties. Most important, you will taste the outstanding wines of the regions.  With maps, descriptions, and tables, you will have a record of each wine you taste and where it fits into the region’s vineyards and wine styles.

            At the heart of each region’s wine personality is a distinctive quality that sets it apart – come discover it together.

6 Tuesdays: October 5: France's Southern Rhone Valley - Châteauneuf du Pape, Beaumes de Venise, and Tavel
