The Westchester Wine School offers a series of evenings brimming with fun, new wine experiences, and information on all things wine. Professional but not intimidating, these courses promise you a better understanding of the range of wines available, how to taste, select and pair them with food, and your own wine preferences. Ned Towle, Director and Certified Wine Educator, is known for his friendly and professional style. Over half his classes are returning students.

Classes are held at the Hilton Rye Town, Rye Brook, New York,
and at The Wine Vault in Mamaroneck, NY.
All classes are from 7:30 – 9:30 PM, unless otherwise indicated.

September - November

The World of Wine: Your Best Introduction to Wine, for Beginners, Intermediates & Enthusiasts
This course offers an enjoyable, clearly marked journey through the delightful, sometimes baffling, world of wine. In six weekly sessions we will immerse ourselves in the principal grape varieties and wine regions of the world, and explore the tastes, flavors and tactile sensations that define a wine. Each session features 8 to 10 wines and favors a relaxed, informative, and interactive style of learning..

Certified Specialist of (CSW) Wine Training Course
The CSW credential signifies a mastery of the core principles and fundamentals of wine and is recognized world wide within the wine industry. The CSW Course includes 24 hours of instruction as well as the tasting of 30 wines, a 250 page CSW Study Guide, access to the On-Line Wine Academy of the Society of Wine Educators, and the Final Exam.

Directions to Hilton Rye Town

From I-95 (North or South) take exit 21 (in New York ) to 287 West. Follow 287 West to Exit 10 (Webb Av). At Exit 10, at traffic light continue straight for 2/10 mile. At next traffic light make a right onto 120A (Westchester Ave.) Follow Westchester three more lights and then turn left into the hotel.

From 287 East (Tappan Zee Bridge), take Exit 10. After exiting, you will be on Westchester Ave. Follow Westchester Avenue ahead while forking left at the signs for Port Chester/120A and the hotel will be four lights ahead on the left.
